Being a retained firefighter is an exciting, challenging and rewarding way in which you can serve your local community in a very real and practical manner.

If you live or work within four minutes of a retained fire station, you could become a retained firefighter with Surrey Fire and Rescue Service.

Interested in becoming a retained firefighter in Surrey?

To register your interest in becoming a retained firefighter, please complete and submit the online form. This form is only for the position of retained firefighter. You must currently live or work within four minutes of the retained fire station which you are applying to. Submitted forms will not be accepted as applying for the position of wholetime firefighter.
